Above are pictures on the two bikes I am considering riding for TransIowa.
KHS CX100 Cross Bike - Steel frame with soft tail rear design is good for gravel roads plus 700 wheels help too.
Specialized Epic - Full suspension will be esier on the body but the 26 inch wheels are perhaps not as fast if the roads are hard and smooth.
What to do? Maybe I'll take both and decide based on weather forecast, road conditions, etc.
