Also, the lease is up on my Honda Element. Options include extend lease, buy it or turn it in and get something new or different. I like the Element, it works for me, but I can't seem to justify paying to get a new one. Another option is to go with something a little different.

gas mileage has to be so much higher on the element. plus how many bikes are you haulin? Our element can take 3 (road,cross,or mtb) in the rear and with a Saris rack up to three more.
Actuall MPG is the same or better at 22-25 due to the 5 cylinder Mecedes Benz diesel engined that has been perfected and used for over 10 years in Europe.
Julie can get 28 mpg driving light.

go with the diesel.....lots of room. This is coming from someone that drives a mini cooper clubman....
