The Mohican 100...

is right around the corner on May 31st. Last year, in perfect conditions, I finished the 100 miles in 8:51, good for a top 20 position out of 200 or so starters. The 25 mile Mohican State Park loop is in great shape with only a few wet spots. I think I am on track for a good performance this year.

Despite my 20 year high school reunion being held over the weekend, I finished up last week with just under 15 hours. Hope to get in some intensity this week at Westlake tonight and some 6-7 minute hill repeats on Thursday.

I have decided to race the Specialized S Works Carbon Hardtail. It is great on the dirt roads and the climbs. I still need to swap out brake pads, the rear cassette and make sure tires are in good shape.

Later,
BRD
