Valley City..
....aways a great race. Thanks to Pat, Linda and the rest of the Snakebite crew. Saturday was my birthday, so I got got up early, drank coffee, read the paper, gave the kids and wife some hugs and rolled out for 40 mile ride to Valley City. Fifty miles later, I arrived at about 11:50am for a 12:30 start. Not too bad!! Signed up, filled the bottles, took off the frame pump and seat bag, chatted a bit and lined up for the 12:30 start. It was hot, so three larger water bottles were the order for the day. Up next was a 4 x 12 mile rolling circuit compliments of Medina Co's finest terrain. Legs felt good, no cramps, a good birthday. Pooped out and sat up for the sprint. Caught a ride home with FAST Ray and Mark from Square Wheels and we stopped at a cool farmers market where I purchased glorius tomatos for $1.50/lb...fucking yeah!! I was a tad late for my b-day party at my sisters but rolled over 107 miles for the day. Good times. Thanks to Rick for the Blue Moon and the pics. Later, BRD.

how old?
nice ride brett. good race too.
Nice ride? Brett, you raced fantastically well. I would have used your "warm-up" as an excuse to pack it in after the first lap. You were killing it out there.
39 years young. In 2009, my race age will be 40!! Thanks Robert and Thom. I was trying to ride easy, but I kept getting caught up in "racin."
You are the freakin' man!
Nice racin' and happy belated b-day.
Bill
