I got a good start (first 30 meters), then proceeded to move back, back, back. I along with everyone was suffering, but I was going very very slow. Luckily my rear derailler exploded and I DNF'ed. It prevented me from taking the cyanide (sp) capsule that I always carry. Looks like I'll be single speeding it next week. One more race, then no more cross until next year. I promise to be fit next cross season. Later, BRD
